SerialSnap setup code

Turn an Apple School Manager or Apple Business API account into a QR code that technicians scan in SerialSnap under Add organization › Scan setup QR code.

Everything stays in this browser. This page makes no network requests (its security policy blocks them) and saves nothing. The QR code can contain your organization's private key, so treat it like the .pem file: show it only to the technician who's scanning, and don't print, screenshot or share it.

1 · API account

2 · Private key

Drop the .pem file here or click to choose it. It was downloaded once when the API account was created.

3 · What the code contains

EverythingOrganization, Client ID, Key ID and private key. One scan sets up the device. Private key onlyUse when your MDM already pushes the Client ID and Key ID (see below). Details without the keyFills in the form; the technician imports the .pem separately.

Optional · Managed App Configuration

Push these keys to SerialSnap from your MDM so technicians never type the Client ID or Key ID. The private key isn't sent this way, so pair it with a Private key only code.
